| The missing element is back...Soulful Original Unique Love...S.O.U.L Factor! It's time to bring the "groove" back to dancing. Getting down, having fun and also learning the real. There's a 10 minute warm up and stretch, then you'll learn some fly choreography that gets that "groove" back. Kwame Mensah, hip hop instructor, brings his experience from dancing in Sean Paul videos and at the Juno Awards right here to Kelowna BC. This Hip Hop class will start with a 5 minute warm up and then jump right into dancing. It is taught by expressing the feeling behind the moves. You can expect cool, cocky, sexy dance styles that will separate this class from any other. You will also find displays of intense body movements that are eye catching, hip and funky. | Tracy's class is beneficial for all levels of fitness as well as being suitable for beginners to yoga. We start the class with a few minutes of breath work & awareness and then begin to limber and stretch the body to prepare for strengthening/alignment work in a variety of the foundational yoga poses or asanas. These would include standing, sitting forward/backward bending, twists and safe inversions. Modifications and progressions of the poses are demonstrated/explained throughout the sessions. The last 7-10 minutes of the class the participant is guided through a systematic relaxation exercise (savasana) to completely integrate all of the benefits from the asana work and to calm/quiet the chatter in the mind. Tracy then likes to end the class reading a short meditation to inspire and refresh the spirit, bringing your whole being into a balance state of peace and calm. | ||||
